The idea behind this blog is to make this year all about me... It may evolve into more than that, but I think that is okay- the beauty of blogging. I have spent the past 16 years of my life dedicated to school, work, clubs, organizations, the list goes on, now it is time to give some time to me! That is why 2014 is dedicated to me and my growth. In many forms, growth in experiences, travel, professionally, spiritually, and whatever I think I need growth in. For me 2014 is about being a little more selfish, a little more outspoken- basically being the truest version of me that I can be.
So what this blog is not:
-A list of "What you should accomplish by twenty something." Who has the authority to make these lists anyhow? Give me a break...
-A place to find the meaning of life... Sorry. I may give little tid bits here and there, but I am still trying to find the meaning myself. Life is a never ending journey until we die- live it up!
-Me telling you the timeline of when things are suppose to happen. That is up to God, he has your timeline and they are all different. Dig it.
Here is the fun stuff though! What this blog is:
-Somewhere to vent! We all have days where talking it out seems to go in a circle, sometimes we just have to write it out.
-A creative outlet. Now, I am not that creative as a writer, but I like to think that I come up with a good thing here and there.
-A chance to joke and share life. To me, life is one of the funniest things and best stories that can be retold. Sometimes my friends get frustrated when I retell a story, but those are the best stories to me. I love sharing them!
-Finally, just an outlet to share. The hardships and triumphs that are brought to us day to day.
Tomorrow I will post my 2014 bucket list... I have a few ideas so far.
Here's to today, because we don't know what tomorrow will bring!
